Lovely

It snowed!

We heard there might be flurries, or even light snow yesterday. But the flakes fell softly, steadily throughout the day on Wednesday. And into the night. There were still flurries this morning when I got up at 5:45am. And everything is covered with a beatuiful white blanket.

I took these photos just past 7:00am this morning. I wanted to capture the still, quiet, beauty right outside my windows. Enjoy, and may you all have a peaceful day.

A beautiful bird comes to the church for his morning meal. I put extra sunflower seeds and dried fruit bits out this morning.

  1. This was the most wonderful Christmas card ever! The beauty is astonishing. You really should take some of your shots (these and others you have posted) and print them on fabric to incorporate into a quilt.

  2. Thank you so much for your sweet and thoughtful comments! Your idea to print some of these photos to fabric and make a quilt is a wonderful idea! I even have this new software called “Kaleidoscope Kreator” which turns photos into kaleidoscopic works of art. I really need to give it a try!
