A wonderful workshop recap!

the-national-quilt-museum

I just returned from teaching a workshop/retreat last week at the National Quilt Museum. We had the best time!!! For three days the students and I completely immersed ourselves in designing and constructing with precut fabric bundles! Plus, I got to spend my birthday week with some terrific ladies who are all my new friends. I can’t think of any better way to celebrate! It was so much fun. But rather than tell you about it, I’d like to share it with you in photos.

Upon arrival, there were lots of delicious snacks and goodie bags waiting for everyone.

With many thanks to Chuck Clark, of Calico Country (Paducah’s wonderful Bernina dealership!)…..

Loaner machine…..I was able to use an 820 machine (just like mine at home!) in the workshop for demos. Thanks, Chuck!!!

  1. Hey Kimberly, you guys did great! Thank you so much for the rulers, it was a great surprise. I had a few questions for you before I begin my lonely journey to my quilt, LOL! Are the pieces all fused and appliqués or sewed together before fusing to the block?
What does RECS, HTS mean? Thanks, Ruth

  2. We all had such a great time! And learned so much. Thank you to you Kimberly for such a great time!
