My Favorite Things

UPDATE: CLICK HERE to watch MY FAVORITE THINGS!

I’m personally inviting you to join me for a FUN FRIDAY FACEBOOK LIVE event this Friday, March 19th at 3pm ET (noon Pacific) for something just a little different.

There are so many new Janome Continental M7 owners — and many more considering making this absolutely amazing machine part of their sewing studios — that I thought it would be informative and helpful to share my most favorite presser feet and accessories with you! I’ve put together a FREE list of all these items, complete with the correct part numbers and some “live links” you can click on to watch videos of how to use these amazing add-ons for some of the DONE BEFORE DINNER projects I’ve shared with you in the past year. If you can’t join me for the live event, it will be available for you to watch on the Facebook Janome Sewing Machines page afterward.

I’ll be answering some questions and Cheeto will be there (of course!) and we’ll have a great time visiting together. My goodness…I’ve missed you all so I hope you’ll stop by and say “hi!”

See you on Friday!

  1. Sounds fun! I have a Janome Horizon Memory Craft 8900 QCP, would it be also helpful for me to join in or is it a very different machine?
    Thank you,
    Joanie McIvor

    • Absolutely you should watch! Most of the presser feet and accessories are available for the 8900 — they will simply have a different part number. But if you tell your local dealer what presser foot you would like to have and your machine model number, they may have them in stock or can order them for you!

  2. Sounds wonderful!! I will be there!

  3. Perfect timing, thinking about the M7 for my 50th birthday, this year.

  4. Have an M7 and would love to know about additional feet etc and how to use them. Looking forward to this as I watch all your videos that I can find. Have participated and completed a couple of your videos and hoping to do more.

  5. I’m looking forward to learning more about my M-7. I love the HP foot. I just finished making your pineapple quilt and bordered it with traditional 4.5 inch pineapple blocks.

    • Shirley – I would just love to see your version with the pineapple blocks in the border. I’m sure it is stunning!

  6. I missed this due to a doc appt., is there a way for me to see it? Was it recorded? I just bought the M7 and really need to find a welting foot, I do some upholstery which really needs that.

    • Kristine — absolutely, you can watch the video on the Janome Sewing Machines page on FAcebook, or I have also posted it on my page, Kimberly Einmo Designs. Congrats on your new M7; you’re going to LOVE it! And I can’t think of a better machine to handle the heavy duty sewing with upholstery. As for the welting foot, I’m sure there is one that would handle this task but it either isn’t listed in the Accessories catalog or isn’t called a “welting foot.” (Although I do know what you mean.) Best thing is to call your local Janome dealer and inquire through her or him. I’m sure they can get exactly what you’re looking for!
