On my way…

My luggage is packed once again and I’ll be powering down my laptop to put into my carry-on in a few minutes. I’m on my way to the airport to fly to Des Moines, Iowa, for the AQS Quilt Show. This is SO exciting! I can’t wait to see all my friends (they feel like extended family to me) from the American Quilters Society and meet many new friends this coming week.

If I have good Internet access this week in my hotel (and if I have any spare time) I will try to post brief updates with photos, so check back often.

See you here or if you’re anywhere in the Midwest, stop by and see me in person in Des Moines!

🙂

  1. Was great to be able to do your Jelly Roll Magic class on Thursday and looking forward to doing the Layer cake with you in the a.m.!

  2. I wanted to tell you again how much I enjoyed your class. I found my money and information. Thank you for taking the time to look through your things for it. It was found at the check in counter by the show.

I have the star we made on my flannel wall but that is a far as I have gone.

    Thanks again, Shirley Rinderknecht.

  3. Dear Kimberly: It was great meeting you yesterday. I wish you the best. I am going to try to get my quilt done but have to get caught up again. I’m involved with a community theater group that has a play starting this coming Friday and need to get those things done also. Thanks again for the great class. Linda Rippeteau

  4. Kim, had so much fun with you in Des Moines! Your classes were great and so much fun! Glad to be your follower. Hope to see you again in the future.

  5. Well, hello Kimberly!

I loved each and every class and plan to use your method. You came into my life just in time since I was about to donate most all my fabric to make room for the two new Janome’s I will be using. I had hoped to have room to get a chair and lamp in there if I removed all the many plastic tubs of miscellany. Well, now they may end up as Jelly Rolls and other sweet nothings!

Thank you for your most generous heart. I am excited to start sewing on my 7700!

Nice to meet you and I look forward to another time our paths cross.

    Continued blessings,
    Martie

  6. Hi,
Well, what did you think of the AQS Show in Des Moines? How were your classes? I was hoping to run into you, but you know how many people were there on Sat. what a zoo – but fun!! Vicki Harris
